GRACE is a new event space by TOBEN , and is looking for a talented and experienced Venue Manager who thrives in a growing and fast-paced environment. This role is responsible for venue sales, venue management, and business development, reporting to the management team. Ideal candidates will have a positive attitude and ample customer service and event experience. Specific job training will be provided.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
-Respond to venue leads in an efficient and professional manner
-Arrange and conduct venue site visits with prospective clients
-Prepare estimates for venue rentals, inclusive of beverage packaged and other venue required items
-Sell through, close, and coordinate venue contracts
-Work with TOBEN event team to prepare catering estimates for clients
-Scheduling of staffing, rentals, and other event needs where applicable
-Vendor management and relationship building
-On-site scheduling and management of supplier load-in/out
-Coordinate venue cleaning schedules
-Business development and outreach
-Payment scheduling and invoice preparation
-Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
-Minimum 2 years Relevant work experience in Hospitality
-Previous sales experience an asset
-Superior time management and organizational skills a must
-Adept Multi-tasking skills
-Must hold a valid G2 or G Ontario License
-Positive, Respectful team player
