We are a small Reggio-Emilia Inspired Child Care Centre that caters to children 18 months to 4 yrs old. At Tiny Bumblebees we embrace children’s joy for discovery, learning, and wonder. We see children as teaching partners and encourage child-initiated activities that allow children to learn about the world through inquiries and self-exploration. We are looking for a passionate, strong, nurturing teacher for our toddler/ junior preschool classroom.
Position Requirements:
The candidate must be an Early Childhood Educator registered with the College of ECE’s. The candidate should have 1 year minimum experience of working with children ages 18 months to 4 years old, have a current and up-to-date standard first aid and CPR/AED Level C, along with a vulnerable police check clearance. The candidate should be loving and passionate in working with children.

Qualifications:
-Experience in planning, carrying out and assessing developmentally appropriate curriculums
-Experience developing and planning individualized and large group setting learning activities
-Experience in providing a safe and healthy environment for the children, families and staff
-Educators are sensitive and responsive to children’s needs
-Provides opportunities for active play—(i.e. outdoors)
-Embeds a strong sense of community by providing the opportunity of discovery walks around the neighbourhood and parks
-Provides opportunities for developing motor, social, language and cognitive skills when preparing weekly learning activities both indoors and outdoors
-Positive interactions with staff, children, and families
-Experience documenting and assessing children using the ELECT document and How Does Learning Happen?
-Is organized and works well under pressure
