Permanent/Full-time.
Duties and responsibilities:
· A focus on painting, drywall repairs, new installation/framing and exterior stucco repairs (EIFS) in commercial, institutional and industrial settings
· Painting – ceilings, walls, doors, trim and spraying
· Taping “mudding” with plaster and the ability to provide a level 5 finish.
· Drywall patch repair – cutting old, damaged drywall and replacing with new.
· Flexibility to complete with guidance (if necessary) other trades ie Tile (vinyl/porcelain/carpet) parging and general repairs
· Comfortable working/Painting off ladders, scaffold, scissor lifts and zoom boom and roofs.
· Ability to work with hardware tools and power equipment.
· Familiar with paints and general construction/maintenance materials.
· Ability to lift a minimum of 50lbs. (sometimes repeatedly throughout the day.)
Requirements and Qualifications
· Must be able and willing to participate in 24/7 on-call rotation that may include weekend and/or overnight work.
· Travel may be required throughout the province
· Reliable, punctual, responsible, solid work ethics.
· Excellent attendance and discipline free record required.
· Strong communication skills.
· Must be able to provide stellar customer service.
· Must have the ability to work on teams!
· Own transportation is an asset
