Vitafoam Products Canada, a division of VPC Group Inc. in Toronto, is looking for Manufacturing Labourers to support our polyurethane foam manufacturing operation in North York, ON.
Candidates must be eligible to work full-time hours (40 hours a week) in Canada.
Salary $16.04/hour + Midnight Shift premium of $0.75/hour.
Guaranteed yearly increases. Full-time permanent role.
Midnight Shift: Sundays 10 pm – 7:30 am, M-Th,12 midnight to 7:30 am

Safety Responsibilities:
- Abide by all safety policies, procedures and best practices
- Identify, report and avoid all hazards
- Operate with safety in mind at all times
- Report any near misses to supervisor
Cleaning:
- Sweep factory floors
- Collect/Empty garbage
- Use baler to compact excess material
- Clear machines of build up
- Organize work areas
- Lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs
Shipping/Packing Responsibilities:
- Package finished products according to customer requirements
- Stack finished products in designated areas and/or on skids
- Load trucks/trailers
- Lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs
- Read and understand labels
Material handling:
- Locate/retrieve/place products in the warehouse
- Adhere materials together using glueing equipment and techniques
- Transfer materials to manufacturing cells using carts
- Lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs
Criteria:
- Must have a reliable method of transportation
- Must be dependable, trustworthy and value accountability
- Manufacturing experience a must
