Basic Function: We are looking for friendly, outgoing, and energetic people who enjoy interacting with guests and providing fun and exciting experiences in the safest manner possible. As an Adventure & Attractions Attendant, our guests will appreciate your exceptional service standards, encouraging attitude, and attention to safety while you operate the various rides at The Toronto Zoo.   • Provide compelling, entertaining, and safe experiences on the various rides and attractions at the Toronto Zoo including the Conservation Carousel, Tundra Air, Gorilla Ropes Climb and the rentals/Accessibility hub.
  • Operate the rides at the Toronto Zoo following all safety standards and complete daily safety checks.
  • Clearly communicate policies and procedures to guests enjoying the rides and attractions.
  • Be safety-minded, courteous, and able to demonstrate an appreciation for the importance of guest service.
  • Be a team player with a positive attitude.
  • Other duties related to the Guest Operations branch.


  • Outgoing and friendly personality and attitude.
  • Detail oriented, organized and focused on safety.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Good written/oral communication skills.
  • Good interpersonal skills, able to work well with others in a team environment.
  • Must be physically capable of performing the essential duties of the job.
  • Full G License in good standing an asset.
  • Must be available to work weekends, shifts and holidays.
  • Police Reference Check is required (upon offer of employment).

Must be able to work a variety of shifts including days, afternoons, evenings, weekends and holidays, up to and including Labour Day
