SUMMARY:
Motivated and curious, the SAP Basis Administrator is responsible for the technical management of the SAP landscape including design, installation, configuration, patches, and continuous support.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure the effective conduct and the integrity of all the SAP landscape at any times.
- Install new versions, updates, and patches from the SAP provider.
- Correct technical issues that affect SAP landscape.
- Provide support to the other Information Systems teams.
- Create and/or refresh development and quality/assurance landscape according to the needs of the related projects.
- Investigate on operating system issues and interact with the outsourcer to fix them.
- Track the performance and the capacity of the environments and address recommendations for appropriate adjustments.
- Provide technical support during implementation, migration and/or integration projects.
- Participate in the various projects by analysing the needs and address the necessary recommendations.
- Create the useful documents for his work and keep all documentation up to date according to the standards.
- Conduct technology monitoring activities and make recommendations on the SAP systems evolution.
- Perform specific tasks on the operating system and database for SAP installations and maintenance.

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or College degree in Computer Science
- 5 to 7 years of relevant IT experience
- + 3 years of experience in SAP technical support
- Knowledge of SAP Netweaver (ABAP and Java), S/4 HANA, Solution Manager, SAP Cloud Platform (a plus)
- Bilingualism: essential (French and English, both spoken and written)
- Knowledge of Linux (a plus)
- Knowledge of the I5/OS operating system (a plus)
