Retail store supervisor

Job Description

Assign sales workers to duties
Hire and train or arrange for training of staff
Order merchandise
Authorize the return of merchandise
Sell merchandise
Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising and personnel matters                                          Organize and maintain inventory
Resolve problems that arise, such as customer complaints and supply shortages                            Supervise and coordinate activities of workers

  4. Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  5. Area of specialization: Retail store
  6. Computer and technology knowledge: MS Outlook
  7. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Fast-paced environment, work under pressure, attention to detail, combination of sitting, standing, walking, standing for extended periods
  8. Personal suitability: Accurate, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, organized, dependability, initiative, ability to multitask
