As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for the company, you will perform general office administrative duties. You will handle the flow of people through the business and ensure that all receptionist responsibilities are completed accurately and delivered with high quality and in a timely manner.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet and direct all visitors
- Provide housekeeping duties such as maintaining reception area tidy
- Assists with guest pre-registration by providing badges and directing them to the appropriate employee
- Help with ordering courier packing supplies and office supplies
- Responsible for preparing and tracking courier packages such as UPS, Fedex, DHL, and Purolator, as well as arranging pick up when needed
- Forward incoming fax, sort and distribute mail for all employees
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail
- Ensure all incoming packages are received by the appropriate employee/ department
- Assist in the maintenance of the company directories with current contact information, phone extensions, etc.
- Ability to use a multi-line phone system; direct all incoming calls to the appropriate personal
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of reception experience an asset
- Knowledge of Powership system is an asset
- Ability to multi-task and stay organized
- Enthusiastic and self-motivated
- Strong communication skills
- Proficient in MS Office, Outlook, and Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to work independently with minimum supervision and direction
- Fluency in Mandarin and English is an asset
