Position overview:

As a Purchaser Associate you will be responsible for providing analytical support helping to shape, influence and design solutions to help the Product Management Team hit their objectives. This role engages with stakeholders cross functionally to help plan, strategize, analyze, document our results as well as go forward planning.

Responsibilities:

  • Produce and circulate regularly scheduled reporting to the Product Management Team.
  • Ability to work with the Team to provide analytical insight of group performance.
  • Coordinate and facilitate ongoing reviews of business processes and developing optimization strategies
  • Conduct meetings and presentations to effectively communicate findings and plans to cross-functional team members and management
  • Produce & review seasonal sell thru reporting and support the Product Management team in execution of end of season plans
  • Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement in planning, inventory replenishment, demand forecasting, inventory optimization and allocation
  • Interact and coordinate with Product Team to understand and document business requirements to improve reporting and data availability.
  • Able to train and socialize analytical tools and capabilities with the broader business.
  • Annual/Quarterly, and in season planning analysis.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Business, Mathematics or related field required.
  • Attention to detail, creative thinking, ability to manage change, strong communication skills and customer focused.
  • Proven ability to work in a complex environment, simultaneously manage multiple tasks and effectively prioritize to meet timelines.
  • Strong communication skills – written and verbal – with the ability to influence others and manage difficult conversations.
  • Strong problem solver with above average quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
  • Proven team player who is both flexible and adaptable.
  • Proficient computer skills – Excel, Office (required)
