Job Description

PSW/Administrative Assistant/PSW required to work as caregiver to care for elderly persons, male or female and to double as Administrative Assistant when not on assignment as caregiver. Selected candidate MUST be able to live in the employers home or to live out as required. This is a mandatory component of the job and persons who will not be able to do this need not reply. Each caregiver assignment will last from three to six months and may be in any town in Ontario

Benefits

  • A wage package is negotiable but will take into consideration the work experience as a caregiver, as well as the market rate for a PSW and will include a bonus for living in the employers home. Travel allowance, is paid and any overtime required will be negotiated on a per case basis. Vacation is two weeks after one year service, two days off applies and birthday, if on a weekday is paid at 1.5 times regular wages if work is required.

Job Requirements

Minimum of grade 12 Education is required. Experience as caregiver for elderly persons over age 67, AND experience caring for children are required.  Experience working as receptionist, administrative assistant is an asset but not mandatory.
