We are hiring Mechanical Assemblers to assemble and repair drum motors in a safe and efficient manner at our facility in Brampton.
Position Summary :
· Position, align and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly
· Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions
· Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine extent of repair required
· Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts
· Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers’ specifications
· Clean, lubricate and perform other maintenance work
· Service attachments and working tools
Requirement:
· 2-4 years experience assembling mechanical components
· Mechanically inclined team player
· Read and interpret blueprints and drawings
· Basic electrical knowledge and understanding
· Weight handling up to 30lbs
· Prior experience assembling and repair of gearboxes an asset
