Reconnect Community Health Services is a Toronto based organization that provides mental health, addictions and community support services to individuals 16 years of age and older.
Reconnect Community Health Services offers a wide range of programs, treatment, support and help to individuals 16 years of age and older. Our services include Adult Day Services, Case Management, Home Help and Personal Care, Meals on Wheels, Therapeutic Falls Prevention, Mental Health Multidisciplinary Teams, Addictions Case Management, Crisis Outreach and Crisis Beds.

The IT Coordinator will implement and organize Move, Change and Deploy of IT equipment and infrastructures including desktops, servers, network equipment and peripheral devices, while providing technical support and management to applications, systems, network, computers and other hardware.

Responsibilities:

Move, Change and Deploy

  • coordinate and handle the Move, Change and Deploy * of IT assets
  • relocate and deploy of IT assets
  • maintain the location map of IT assets

Asset Management

  • maintains an accurate and current inventory of all technology assets;
  • Identifies the need for new or upgraded equipment
  • manages requests for new hardware/software by other departments, including sourcing and

implementation.

User Hardware/Software Management

  • prepares, manages and maintains user hardware and software, including laptops, desktops,

tablets, iPhones, Office 365, etc.;

  • responds to help desk requests related to technical or non-technical issues and provides timely

resolutions within the defined SLA;

  • determines an appropriate course of action from initial hardware assessment, including repairing

equipment when appropriate;

  • delivers courteous and professional customer services based on established guidelines and

benchmarks;

  • manages hardware and software refresh cycles, making recommendations to improve user

experience

System Hardware/Software Management

  • performs daily system monitoring such as reviewing the integrity and availability of all hardware,

server resources, systems and key processes, and system and application logs;

  • verifies backup status and provides remedies on failed backup jobs;
  • maintains of all system hardware and softwares including servers, network equipment, backups,

operating systems, and optional Salesforce, etc.;

  • upgrades and configures systems as required;
  • maintains and manages system upgrade schedules.

IT Knowledge and Education

  • provides training on information technologies, including but not limited to Office 365, mobile

devices, productivity applications, and other technical equipment;

  • creates and maintains training and knowledge-based materials;
  • Provides guidance and best practices on handling information technologies.

Qualifications:

  • a minimum of 2 years of information technology experience in a SMB or Enterprise environment;
  • practical hands-on experience in administrating and managing VMWare and Microsoft Windows

IT infrastructure;

  • knowledge or experience managing IP network including firewalls, routers, switches, access

points, VLAN, Routing, and VPN;

  • experience in administrating and managing Microsoft Active Directory environment including

Group Policy, User Management, DNS, and WSUS etc.;

  • capable to configure and manage commercial backup applications, including but not limited to

Veritas (Symantec) Backup Exec and Veeam Backup;

  • strong working experience, as an administrator, on a federated Office 365 environment;
  • Ability to troubleshoot issues from Windows 10, Microsoft Office 365, iPhones, mobile devices or

tablets etc.;

  • skill and knowledge in managing Windows Server 2008 and 2012;
  • experience working with technology vendors;
  • Hands-on experience and techniques to support remote and mobile workforce, and remote

offices;

  • experience with client management systems (CMS) in the community health care sector;
  • excellent organizational, time management and project management skills;
  • an asset to possess knowledge or experience in working with Voice over IP (VOIP) technology

such as user account provisioning, IP phones deployment and PBX system management etc.;

  • excellent written and oral communication skills;
  • strong attention to detail and documentation;
  • able to work independently and in a team setting;
  • familiar with procedures and best practices to protect privacy and security of confidential,

personal and private information;

  • ability to maintain build books and network diagrams;
  • able and willing to learn new technical skills and technologies;
  • basic programming and scripting skills, optional;
  • experience working in community health sectors;

Compensation

  • $52,000.00 to $60,000.00 per annum

Hours of Work:

  • 37.50 hours per week
