Primary Responsibilities:
- Ensure the plant is clean and orderly
- Ensure safety and sanitation protocols are maintained
- Assist in preparing finished goods from production lines
- Ensure all product matches pallet tag and label descriptions
- Do minor adjustments to box labelers and shrink wrap tunnel
- Change label and shrink wrap rolls
- Basic functions on Case Packer, Case Erector and Plastic lid over-capper
- Palletize product according to company SOPs
- Actively participate to maintain product quality and food safety program practices including: BRC, HACCP, QA/QC, GMP, SOPs, OHSA and other pertinent policies, procedures and legislation
- Other duties as required
Requirements:
- Flexible to work all 3 shifts (day, afternoon, night), changing start times, plus overtime as needed
- Successful completion of the Club Coffee Candidate Assessment
- Experience in food processing or related industry considered an asset
- Ability to prioritize tasks and ensure completion with minimal errors
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy looking consistently for potential food safety or quality deviations
- Frequent lifting and bending and long periods of standing are required – must lift 35 to 50 lbs. on a regular and frequent basis
- Work in temperatures from 10 to 35 degrees Celsius
