Mills Customer Service Coordinator

Job Overview:

The Customer Service Manager of one of Atlantic Packaging Product’s paper mills, located at 111 Progress Ave in Scarborough, ON, is currently seeking a Customer Service Representative. This position will be focused on supporting our Canadian Mill Sales and Planning business.

The most suitable CSR professional for this role will boast an extensive background in customer service and possess high skill levels in the areas of end-to-end order management and coordination, as well as customer query resolution. This position will be reporting to the Customer Service Manager – Mills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process debits and credits, while maintaining customer and price files
  • Maintain and create orders for both internal and external customers using existing systems and platforms
  • Coordinate shipping information for pickup or deliver to customer and or warehouse locations
  • Coordinate production scheduling through entering, reviewing, and adjusting where required
  • Invoicing and checking of price exceptions
  • Work with internal and external customers and expedite where necessary
  • Communicate with customers on their order status, answering enquiries on shipment dates, etc
  • Coordinate the needs of all areas to meet production

Essential Skills and Experience:

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to catch errors in data entry.
  • Familiarity with computer systems and data management programs
  • Good typing and keyboard skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
  • College diploma or equivalent related work experience required.
  • Two (2) to three (3) years’ experience in a fast-paced customer service environment
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Strong/effective communication skills
  • Ability to present themselves in a professional manner at all times
