Job Description
Toronto Family seeks a full time caregiver to care for two children, under 10 years of age, in the employer’s home. Caregiver will exercise good judgment, initiative, flexibility, in regards to time as overtime may be required. Caregiver will maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home, prepare child and toddler for rest period, sterilize bottles, prepare and feed formulas, clean and sterilize bottles, and change infant diapers as well as tend to the emotional well-being of the children
Benefits
- Wage is at Fifteen Dollars ($15.00) per hour for a forty hour week. Overtime is at 1.5 times regular wage. Statutory deductions apply. There will be two weeks vacation after a year of service and two days off per week. Accommodation is available at no cost but LIVING IN IS NOT A CONDITION OF EMPLOYMENT
Job Requirements
- Ability to communicate in English at a level sufficient to work without supervision
- Grade 12 Education or equivalent
- Experience of at least one year experience caring for children of the ages close to or similar to those described above.
