Job Description
Full time caregiver position available in Malton, Ontario to care for two boys under 12 years old. Caregiver will have boys up in time for school, prepare and serve nutritious meals, see them off to school or supervise their in home attendance during COVID-19 restrictions if necessary. Caregiver will discipline boys according to the employer’s requirement and maintain a safe and healthy environment in the house. Additionally light housekeeping, laundry will be done.
Benefits
- The position is full time with two days off, Saturdays and Sundays, each week. Wage of $15.00 per hour will be paid and is subjected to statutory deductions. Vacation is two weeks per year after the first year. Alternatively in lieu vacation payment of 4% of gross earnings. Accommodation ois available on a voluntary basis and no deduction is made for this facility.
Job Requirements
- The successful candidate will have at least Grade 12 Education or equivalent if foreign educated. One to two years’ experience working with this age group is mandatory, as no training can be delivered. Caregiver will be reliable, punctual, dependable, flexible and be able to communicate effectively with both children and employ
