Khau Gully is seeking team oriented, outgoing and energetic individuals to join our Service team. We are looking for experienced bartenders who bring dedication and an exceptional work ethic. We are seeking highly personable, self-motivated individuals with strong communication skills. They demonstrate strong leadership skills and are looking to be groomed into potential managers. Experience in the sale and service of food and alcohol is required. If you have previous experience as a Bartender in a restaurant or a similar setting and a dedication to providing excellent service to customers, we want to hear from you.

Bartenders would also be required to help the restaurant servers as and when the need arises. Khau Gully is seeking a team of diverse employees with or without prior work experience with Indian food. Training on the food menu and menu ingredients would be provided.

Responsibilities :

  • Connect and communicate with every guest
  • Deliver superior food and beverage service and maximize customer satisfaction
  • Must possess impeccable wine, beer and cocktail knowledge
  • Mix and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks to guests following standard recipes
  • Adhere to all liquor laws and regulations
  • Communicate beverage descriptions, specials and information to guests
  • Manage bar area including the glass washer and espresso machine
  • Stock and maintain all bar products including mis en place
  • Monitor and Maintain beer keg and liquor levels
  • Inventory Count of all beverages and supplies and assist Manager with inventory ordering
  • Complete closing duties and secure liquors, beers, wines, coolers, cabinets, and storage areas

Skills :

  • Minimum two years of bartending experience in a fast-paced restaurant environment or a similar role in the Hospitality or Food and Beverages (F&B) Industry
  • Hospitality degree/diploma and/or the equivalent in education and experience is an asset
  • Bartender training and Sommelier certification and/or experience is an asset
  • High school diploma required
  • Proven customer service experience and sales ability required
  • Ability to utilize a restaurant POS software platform is a strong asset
  • Smart Serve Certification Required
  • Food safety understanding
  • A strong problem solver with an insatiable desire to positively impact restaurant reviews
  • Exceptional relationship building and communication skills
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • High attention to detail
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and remain calm under pressure

Hours:
Full time and Part time
